A 2013 FINRA Foundation Military Spouse Fellow, Jennifer Trimble is a current Accredited Financial Counselor® (AFC®) candidate. As a FINRA Foundation Military Spouse Fellow, she has earned volunteer based-practicum field hours working with organizations such as St. Mary's Church, National Disability Institute, Purple Heart Homes—Boots to Backyards Program, BBB Military Line, Fleet & Family Support Center—Kings Bay, Money Mi$$ion Mentor App, and Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. She expects to complete the AFC® program in 2016.
Jennifer has a passion for serving, and for empowering others to make sound, financial decisions. She has devoted her career to service-oriented, helping professions. Prior to transitioning into the Financial Counseling field, she worked as an Administrative Professional serving the business needs of Camden County, Georgia. She has also served in volunteer roles within the community through the Southeast Georgia Mommies' group and at St. Mary's Church.
As a Level II Apprentice Caseworker with the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, Jennifer is using her financial counseling skill set to act as a the client's ambassador, providing budget analysis and recommendations, as well as relief loans per the Society's policies. As a Personal Financial Management Aide for Fleet & Family Support Center—Kings Bay, Georgia, she served military service members through program research and development, marketing and by teaching the financial portions of the Transition Assistance Program (TAP-GPS).
Jennifer holds an Associate degree in Business Administration and Management. She is currently a Senior at Brenau University, working toward her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership. She carries a 3.57 GPA and is a member of the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business.
