"There is such a need for military families to be supported in so many different ways, and getting my accreditation was another way for me to support them and have a career."
Andia Dinesen is Vice President for Communications and Operations for the Association of Military Banks of America (AMBA), a not-for-profit association of banks operating on military installations and banks not located on military installations but serving military customers. AMBA also includes military banking facilities designated by the U.S. Treasury.

Formerly, Andia was the National Coordinator for Military Saves. Military Saves, a year-round campaign, is part of the Department of Defense’s Financial Readiness Campaign. As Military Saves Coordinator, Andia managed the DoD-wide social marketing campaign designed to persuade, motivate and encourage military families to enhance their personal financial health and well-being through saving.
Prior to assuming her position as the Military Saves Coordinator, Andia worked at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, as a Personal Financial Counselor (PFC), where she worked one-on-one with active-duty military members, DoD civilians and their families to help them achieve their specific financial goals. In addition to her work as a PFC, Andia has more than 15 years of volunteer service in support of military families.
